| Glen D. St. Clair,
89, Galveston, passed away at 12:35 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at Sycamore Village Health Care Center in Kokomo. He was born Dec 18, 1918, in Cass County, to Arthur and Flora (Foy) St.Clair. On March 31, 1940, in Geneva, he married Mary Lois (Franklin) St.Clair, who preceded in death Dec. 17, 2001 He was a farmer and was a truck driver for seven years. He shelled corn and hauled feed for the Erny family later retiring from Erny's Fertilizer in 1990 after 24 years service. When farming he raised beef cattle and sold beef with his brothers in the Logansport area. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Galveston and graduated from Grass Creek High School in 1937. He enjoyed traveling, listening to Lawrence Welk Music and dinner's at the church with the Widows and Widowers group. Surviving are a son, Jerry and wife, Barbara St.Clair, Kokomo; grandchildren, Tony St. Clair, Sandy and husband, Dave Chapin, Karyn Buehler, Shelly Stewart, Debbie Short; 10 great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; a son, Larry; five brothers and four sisters. Services are 10:30 a.m.. Monday, Nov. 3, 2008 at Murray Weaver Funeral Home Galveston Chapel, 401 S. California St., Galveston. The Rev. Aaron Webb and Rev. Warren Purcell will officiate. Burial will be in Galveston Cemetery, Galveston. Calling will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2nd at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Galveston and the American Cancer Society.
