Bessie P. Harp, 81, of Kokomo, passed away with her loving family by her side at 8:27 a.m. Friday, November 19th at her home in Kokomo.  She was born August 20, 1935 in Corbin, KY to Thomas and Cleora (McNeil) Cox.   She married Ray Harp July 20, 1972 in Kokomo and he survives. Bessie was employed by Delco Electronics for 21 years before her retirement. She enjoyed Quilting and Crochet.

Surviving family include her husband Ray Harp, Kokomo, children, Vicki Mote, Flora; Sue Scantland, Frankfort; Jan Cupp, Peru; Marilyn Lamm, Burlington; Rick Harp, Kokomo; and Jeff Harp, Kokomo.   She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Jack and Emma Sue Cox, Barbara Pridemore and Wanda Evans.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Rev. Don McDowell officiating.  Burial will follow at Galveston Cemetery.  Visitation will take place from 12 noon until time of services at the funeral home.  Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston assisted the family with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
