Gerald “Dave” Call, 66 of Galveston, passed away peacefully at his home early Thursday morning March 2nd 2017.  He was born April 28, 1950 in Terre Haute, Indiana to George F. Call and Pauline Rosalie Bessler.  He married Marilyn Marohl on February 5, 1980 in Monticello and she survives.

Dave retired from Chrysler Transmission in Kokomo with several years of service.  He was a graduate of Wolcott High School and served his country in the US Marines.

Surviving family include his wife Marilyn Call, Galveston, his son Joel and wife Shawna Call. Siblings, Robert Call, Carolyn Call, Patricia Conley, George Call Sr., Christopher Call and Nicki Bingman.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Memorial contributions may be given to a local animal shelter in Dave’s honor.   In keeping with  Dave’s wishes, no services will be planned.   Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston have been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
