Mickey A. Sites, 60, of Walton, passed away at 5:39 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru.  He was born November 1, 1956 to Jack and Betty (Donahue) Sites in Kokomo.  He married Joan Jump on May 12, 1984 in Walton and she survives.

Mickey worked for Haynes International in Kokomo for 29 years as a superintendent.  He was currently employed by General Motors in Marion, Indiana as a supervisor.   He was a 1975 graduate of Lewis Cass High School.  Mickey enjoyed fishing, hunting and looking for mushrooms.  He was an avid sports fan.   He was very passionate about his koi pond and landscaping his yard.

Surviving family include his wife Joan Sites, Walton; children, Eric Sites, Jackson Hole, WY; and Amie Sites, Indianapolis; his mother Betty Sites, Galveston; sisters, Rita (Phil) Miller, Galveston and Teresa (Chris) Mehaffie of Tampa, FL.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his father Jack Sites.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 9th at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Rev. Bill Collins officiating.  Burial will follow at Galveston Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 8th at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston.   Memorial contributions may be given to the Lewis Cass Athletic Department for Lewis Cass High School in Walton, Indiana.   www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
