Pauline (House) Klepfer

July 3, 1917 ~ January 11, 2017 (age 99) 99 Years Old

Pauline Klepfer, 99, of Greentown, passed into the arms of her heavenly father at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, January 11th at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo.   She was born July 3, 1917 in Cass County to Earl and Bertha (Deisch) House.    She married Wendell W. Klepfer on October 30, 1938 in Galveston and he preceded her in death November 9, 2006.

Pauline enjoyed working for Lewis Cass High School in the Cafeteria for many years.   She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, reading and playing cards, but the most important thing to Pauline was her family.   She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Galveston and also the Order of the Eastern Star.   Surviving family include her children, Janet (Marion) Pullen, Galveston; Diane (Dick) Bryan, Greentown and Kevin (Sarah) Klepfer also of Greentown.  Surviving grandchildren, Dawn Pitner, Rob (Mariellen) Pullen, Melissa (Bryan) Stewart, Marsha Dollar, Jonathon (Robyn) Klepfer, Erin Klepfer and Derek (Alison) Klepfer. Great Grandchildren, Jacob (Rachael) Pitner, Valeri Creviston, Galen Pitner, Drew Pullen, Claire Pullen, Alyssa (Trent) Horner, Brynn (Marissa) Stewart, Kadee (Ian) Klafka, Kirsten Dollar, Abigail Klepfer, Elisha Klepfer and Elizabeth Klepfer.  She is also survived by four great great grandchildren, Laila and Silas Creviston and Sam and Finlee Horner.  She also has one sister surviving, Waneta Jones of Greentown.   She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Wendell.

The family would like to thank Century Villa Health Care and Community Howard Regional Health for their excellent and compassionate care of Pauline.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 16th at the First Baptist Church, 207 S. Sycamore Street, Galveston, Indiana with Rev. Jason Humiston officiating.  Burial will follow at Galveston Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled from 2 – 5 p.m. Sunday at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston and also one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.    Online condolences may be sent to Pauline’s family at www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
