Stuart T. Ironmonger, 60, of Galveston, passed away at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 31st at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.   He was born September 21, 1956 in Grant County to Norman T. and Mary Alice (Stevens) Ironmonger. 

Stuart was “Gods Special Boy”,  He loved to sit outside in the sun and watch the kids play. He enjoyed strawberry milkshakes and food of all kinds.   His favorite T.V. show was Captain Kangaroo.   Stuart had a happy personality but could be a little ornery too.

He is survived by his brother Steven Ironmonger of Schererville, Indiana and sister Jo Ellen Ironmonger and companion Margo of Galveston, Indiana.  He is also survived by four nieces, one nephew and several great nieces and nephews and cousins.   He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

A celebration of Stuart's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday,  June 10th at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Celebrant Carla Barker officiating.  Burial will follow at Galveston Cemetery.  Visitation time will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
