William “Bill” H. Sisson Jr. , 79, of  Walton, passed away at 11:10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4th at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo.  He was born on September 15, 1937 in Romulus, New York to William H. Sisson Sr. & Irene (O’Conner) Sisson McGeorge.  He married his high school sweetheart Marilyn Rook on June 21, 1958 in Waterloo, New York and she survives.

Bill was in Agri Business Management.  He was very involved in the industry until his retirement in 1996.  He enjoyed Golf, Traveling, especially flying his plane, woodworking was an avid reader and music lover and an accomplished musician.   He enjoyed life to the fullest and his family was very important to him.

Surviving family include his wife Marilyn Sisson, Walton, IN; daughters and son-in-laws, Carol “Carrie” (Mike) Munson, Walton, IN and Elizabeth “Ann” (Bill) Vogeley, Ft. Worth, TX; grandchildren, Mike D. (Carrie Ann) Munson, Kokomo and Paul Munson, Great Falls, MT; great grandchildren include, Meagan, Nicole, Sam and Nathan Munson.   He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tom Sisson and one grandson Billy Munson.

Private family services will be held at a later date with Pastor Harry Roselle officiating.  In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Walton Public Library or a charity of Donor’s choice.  Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston have been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
