Colonial Dames XVII Century, Coert Van Voorhees Chapter is the organization through which I knew Barbara MCCloskey. She was a joy to know. I plan to make a donation in her name to our scholarship fund at IU-Kokomo. Each year a student is chosen who is Majoring in U. S. History.
I also knew her through her Aunt, Mary Ceders. Both were exceptional women, and did so much for their communities.

Years ago my very young and very timid daughter visited HSP. She had the good fortune of finding a seat next to Barbara. Barbara kindly made her feel very welcome and at ease in new surroundings. Thank you, Barbara, for your gentleness and welcoming heart.
