Betty B. (Pine) Boring

Betty B. Boring, 91, of Galveston, passed away peacefully in her sleep at 12:00 pm Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Northwoods Village in Kokomo.  She was born November 1, 1927 in Kokomo.

She married Marshall Paul Boring on March 6, 1946 in Galveston and he preceded her in death on March 13, 1987.   Betty worked for Maple Grove Distributing in Galveston for several years.

Surviving family include her daughters, Teresa Boring, Galveston; Barbara Burrous, Kokomo; and Marcia Carden, Galveston.  Surviving grandchildren include, Debbie Burrous, Diana Turman, Jeff Burrous, Wes Carden and Shane Carden.  Several great and great great grandchildren also survive her.   She was preceded in death by eleven siblings and her husband Paul.

A time of telling stories and sharing special memories will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Galveston Cemetery.  No visitation is planned.   Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston has been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
