Betty J. Riggle, 76, of Galveston, passed into eternity at 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 15th, 2016 at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo.   She was born February 28, 1940 in Logansport to Roscoe and Marie (Farmer) Klise.   She married Paul “Red” Riggle Jr. on September 7, 1957 in Cass County and he preceded her in death June 23, 2012.

Betty retired from Delco Electronics in Kokomo in 1987.   She enjoyed traveling and late model racing.   Surviving family include her children, Russell A. Riggle, Galveston; William E. (Lisa G.) Riggle, Peru; Paul “Ed” Riggle, Elkhart; and Cindy (Kelvin) Grumpp, Wabash;  Grandchildren, Jason and wife Sarah, Bobby, Nikki, Ashley, Wayne, Dustin, Stephanie and husband Noah, Aly and Sami.  Great Grandchildren, Shelby, Lexus, Jaden, Reagan and a sister, Linda Hambrick of Ossian, IN.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, and one grandson Isaac Paul.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23rd at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Rev. Kenny Cole officiating.  Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Carroll County.   Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. Friday, July 22nd at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be given to Waterford Place Health Campus in honor of Betty.   Murray Weaver Funeral Home have been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
