Carol Sue Davis, 83, of Walton, passed away at 3:30 a.m. October 19, 2019 at her home. She was born October 15, 1936 in Indianapolis to Robert O. and Ethel Rita Cox Uberto. She married Roy E. Davis on May 18, 1952. He preceded her in death in 2003.
Carol was an insurance agent for many years. She started her own company, D&L Associates in Kokomo. She enjoyed knitting and her cats and dogs. Carol served on Walton Town Council from 1989 – 1995, during part of that time she also served as President. She was also active in the Walton community serving on several boards.
Surviving family include her children, Rodney Davis, Walton; Matthew (LuAnn) Davis, Logansport; grandchildren, Matthew, Trever and Justin Davis, Heather (Michael) Sheean, Brett Davis, John (Gina) Butcher and Jerry Butcher. Also surviving are her great grandchildren, Brady, Aliece, Alyssa, Aliaha, Akara, Aiden, Avery, Aiden, Sophia, Scarlett, Maveric, Anastyn, Cadence, Alex, Kelsey and husband Trever, Justin and Jeramy; three great great grandchildren, Jamison, Jason and Julissa and son-in-law, Carrell Butcher of Indianapolis and a special friend Mary Lou Dunbar Stein. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy and daughter, Pamela Sue Butcher.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23rd at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Rev. Bill Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Logansport. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society in Carol’s honor.
