Dolores Guadalupe Jamerson,“Nana”, 85, of Walton passed away at 4:28 am Monday, April 29, 2019 at Waterford Place Health Campus in Kokomo. She was born May 14, 1933 to Roman and Antonita (Mendosa) Pineda in Picacho, New Mexico. She married William Alton Jamerson on January 10, 1953 in Roswell, N.M. and he preceded her in death on May 28, 2015.
Dolores was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts and cooking. She was the best “Nana” in the world to her grandchildren. She attended All Saints Catholic Church in Logansport and was an avid supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
She is survived by her three daughters, Sandra Hlebasko, Debra (Jeff Junker) Gates, and Cyndi (Jim) Blauvelt; grandchildren, Bryan William Gates; Cari Gates, Courtney Hardin, Tim Jamerson, Jackie Gates, Kyle Collins, Cale (Amber) Collins and Brianne Jamerson. Also surviving are her great grandchildren, Samantha Gates, Madison Gates, Braxton Nickels, Lauren Carroll, Jamerson Carroll, Kayleigh Collins, Cole Hardin, Brysen Collins, Kenley Collins, Olivia Hardin, Kyla Collins , step great grandchildren, Andee Junker, Lincoln Fetterhoff and Amelia Fetterhoff. She is also survived by one brother, Eloy Pineda. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Jamerson, son, Timothy Jamerson and siblings, Charlotte Sanchez, Juanita Zamora, Mabel Maes, Ramona Welch, Elizario Pineda, Joe Pineda, Roman Pineda Jr., and Edward Pineda.
Visitation will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. Saturday, May 4th at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with funeral services following at 4:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Walton IOOF Cemetery.
