DuWayne Keith Obituary

DuWayne E. Keith, 63, Camden, passed away at 9:40 a.m. Sunday morning at his home.  He was born November 3, 1954 in Kokomo to Richard T. and Laura F. (Emry) Keith.  He married Nancy L. Birnell Criss April 27, 1987 in Logansport and she survives.

 

DuWayne worked in maintenance for Walmart in Logansport for several years.  He enjoyed working on small engines in his garage and watching NASCAR.   He was a member of Center United Methodist Church near Young America.

 

Surviving family include his wife, Nancy Keith, Camden; his children, Matthew R. Keith, Delphi; Alan Keith, Indianapolis; Grace Keith, Bloomington, IN; Shawn Michael Criss, Lafayette, IN; and Eric James Criss, Delphi.  He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three sisters, Teresa (Jerry) Pitman, Walton; Patricia Gilliam, Walton; and Christine (Michael) Russell, Bloomington, IL.   He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Debbie.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 28th at Center United Methodist Church near Young America with Pastor John Newman officiating.  Burial will follow at Center UB Cemetery.   Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. Friday, April 27th at Center United Methodist Church.  Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston has been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
