Kathy G. McElroy, 66, of Kokomo, died at 7:43 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at her home in Kokomo.  She was born December 20, 1950  in Knoxville, Tennessee to Clyde and Shirley (Caldwell) Vandergriff.  She married Donnie McElroy and were happily married for 26 years.

Kathy was a homemaker.  She loved her grandchildren and her family.  She enjoyed nature and watching the birds.  She also enjoyed playing games on Facebook.

She is survived by her husband Donnie McElroy of Kokomo; her children, Clyde, Brentt, Crystal, Misty, Steven McElroy and Derek McElroy.  She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, sister, Jewel Ann Harris, AL; brother, Clyde Steve Vandergriff, Kokomo; and beloved nieces and nephews, one in particular, Clyda, who thought she was the world.

 In keeping with Kathy’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.
