Martha L. (Bullick) Chain

Martha L. Chain, 91, of Logansport, formerly of Wabash, joined the angels in heaven at 6:06 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 at her home in Logansport.  She was born August 17, 1928 in Cass County to Fred and Hazel (Garber) Bullick.  

Martha was a graduate of Galveston High School.   She retired from the Wabash County Hospital in 1988 with many year’s service in surgical supply.  She enjoyed needle work and sewing and was a member of the Logansport Church of the Brethren.

Surviving family include her daughter, Judy Sturgill of Logansport, her grandchildren, James, Angela, Christy, Bobby and Brad; her great grandchildren, Alex, Alicia, Lynnsie, James, Justin, Austin, Tisha, Shelby, Bobby and Branson.  She is also survived by 5 great great grandchildren.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Frances Arion, two great grandchildren, Charlie and Adaline Sluss and siblings, Ed, Leo, Milford and Pauline Bullick.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Aaron Gross officiating.  A time of visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Logansport Church of the Brethren, 2405 Shadowlawn Drive, Logansport, IN  46947. Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston has been entrusted with arrangements.www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
