Mary Kay Hall Obituary

Mary Kay Hall, 82, of Kokomo passed away at 11:09 p.m. Tuesday, March 5th at Century Villa Nursing Home in Greentown.  She was born July 16, 1936 in Grand Rapids, MI to Charles Ira and Mary Lenor (Murray) Wilcox.   She married Robert E. Hall on June 25, 1955 in Logansport, Indiana and he preceded her in death on November 26, 2015.

Mary Kay worked for the US Postal service as a Clerk at the Kokomo Post Office.  She retired with 20 years service.   She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandkids.

Surviving family include her children, Helen (Mike) McDonald, Galveston; Kenneth Hall, Baker, CA; Bob (Leslie) Hall, Windsor, CA; Charlie (Penny) Hall, Kokomo; and Debbie (Roger) Wolfe, Greentown.  Surviving grandchildren include, Mandy (Robert) Thurmond Jr., Brandy (Rob) Allen, LeAnn Hall, Amiee (Matt) Moulder, Kiel McDonald, Audrey (Paul) Spencer, Michael S. Hall and Heather (Von) Scott.  She is also survived by several great grandchildren, two sisters, Betty Nowicki and Ruth Ellinger, both of Grand Rapids, MI.  Several nieces and nephews also survive her.   She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Martin and Michael Hall, one brother, Jack Wilcox and one sister, Nancy Singleton.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 4, 2019 in the Galveston Cemetery.  The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the staff of Century Villa in Greentown for their exceptional care of Mary Kay.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8thAvenue, 7thFloor, New York, NY 10001 or visit www.alzfdn.org  Arrangements have been entrusted to Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston.  www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
