Zachary Edward Wines

Zachary Edward Wines, 25 of Walton, passed away tragically as a result of an auto accident Tuesday evening near Walton.  Zach was born December 16, 1992 in Logansport to Paul E. Wines and Trisha S. (Rolland) Wines.  He was employed by Kokomo Auto World as a detailer.

 Zach attended Lewis Cass high school where he was involved in football and wrestling.    He was also a member of Cass County 4H and Jackson friendly farmers.  He loved cars and enjoyed helping with the Walton community fire department car show every fourth of July.  He was also a huge Chicago Bears and Notre Dame fan.  Zach just loved life in general.

 Surviving family include his parents, Paul and Stephanie Wines, Walton; siblings, Gavin Paul Wines and Chloe Ann Wines both of Walton; Felicity Lillian Prez, Walton and Nicole Henderson of Plant City, Florida; niece and nephews, Natalie, Chase and Carter Prez; Grandparents surviving include Lorna and John Reed, Walton; Steve and Pam Hicks, Galveston; and John and Maria Wines of Roswell, NM.  He is also survived by aunts and uncles, (Aunt Mimi) Mary and Curtiss Malave,  Peru; “Uncle” Shelby Strasser of Kokomo, IN; David and Nicci Hicks of Galveston, IN; John Diane and Ralph Lancaster, Greenwood; Tim and Martha Rolland, Valrico, FL; John and JoAnn Rolland, Clearwater, FL; Chad and Cheri Wines, Kansas City, MO; and Suzanne Wines of Greenwood, IN; John-Eric and Dawn Marie Corn of Indianapolis, IN.  Zach is also survived by his cousins, Andrew Elliott, Brianna and Robert Valdez, Brandon Strasser and Addyson O’Brian, and Kobe and Paxtyn Hicks  He was preceded in death by his mother, Trisha Suzanne Wines, grandparents, Patricia and Arthur Rolland, uncle, Joe Rolland, great grandparents, Norman and JoAnn Wines and Merle and Pauline Decker.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Galveston United Methodist Church, 515 S. Maple Street, Galveston, IN with Fr. Richard Lightsey officiating.  Burial will follow services at Galveston Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 3rd at Galveston United Methodist Church.  Murray Weaver Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
