Allen L. Ellison, 71, of Walton, passed away at his home Saturday, February 7, 2026. He was born May 16, 1954, to Emerson and Lillas (Dyke) Ellison. Allen graduated from Lewis Cass High School and later earned his bachelor’s degree in agriculture business from Purdue University. He worked in the farm lending field for many years retiring from FSA. His passion in life was farming and fishing. He was a member of the “Wild bunch”, a group of friends that enjoyed life to the fullest, fishing and having a good time together.
Surviving family include his two sons, Alex (Amanda) Ellison and Adam Ellison. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Davis, Colt, Case, Braelyn, Gage, Jack and Walker. One great grandchild, Wrenley and two brothers, Darrell (Kelly) and Arnold (Beth) Ellison. He is preceded in death by his parents and former wife Annelie Ellison.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston. Allen will be laid to rest in the Galveston Cemetery.
