Barbara "Michelle" Moss

Barbara Michelle Moss, 56, of Galveston, passed away at 2:05 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Kokomo Healthcare Center in Kokomo.   She was born December 31, 1965, to Michael G. and Nancy (Ravencraft) Moss.

Michelle graduated from Lewis Cass High School and went on to work as an actress and model.  She enjoyed collecting Wizard of Oz and Disney memorabilia.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy Moss of Galveston; children, Lucy (Josh) McKee of Kokomo and Michael Porter of Texas.  She is also survived by two granddaughters, Emma McKee and Audrey Arent and one brother, Brad Moss of Carmel, IN: Stepmother, Bev Moss of Kokomo and Uncle, Larry Ravencraft of Washington.   Michelle was preceded in death by her father Michael.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Rev. Bill Collins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Galveston Cemetery.   Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of services at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Galveston Volunteer Fire Dept. or the Kokomo Humane Society in her memory.   Murray Weaver Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
