Bruce K. McKinley

Bruce K. McKinley, 64, of Kokomo, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018.  He was born February 27, 1954 in Miami County to Robert and Rosalind (Ro) McKinley.   He married Angela “G” Gifford on June 15, 2013 in Miami County and she survives.

Bruce retired from Chrysler with 28 years service in machine repair.  He was a member of UAW Local #685 in Kokomo.  Bruce enjoyed fishing, golf,  working on things and his faithful dog Rocco.  He was an avid outdoorsman at heart.  He was also a very gifted musician and could play any instrument almost instantly.  

Surviving family include his wife Angela “G”  McKinley, TN; his sons, Aaron (Heather) McKinley, Kokomo; Matthew (Bekah) McKinley, Kokomo and Justin McKinley, Miami.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kali, Ayden, Taylor, Ian and Sophia McKinley and Ellianna and Elijah Anthony.  Two brothers also survive him, Gary McKinley of Kokomo and John (Suzy) McKinley of Bunker Hill.   He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bobby and uncle Paul Welch.

A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24th at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Rev. Norm Snyder officiating.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service’s at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.    Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston has been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
