Daniel Croddy Obituary

Daniel Ross Croddy, 49, of Glendale, AZ formerly of Kokomo, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 9, 2022, in Prescott Valley, AZ.   Daniel was born March 30, 1973, in Kokomo to Daniel R. Sandlin and Eileen T. (Bowen) Mills.  He was later adopted and raised by Don and Elfrieda Croddy in Kokomo.

 

Daniel loved to create while cooking, it was a passion for him.  He enjoyed working and attending the renaissance festivals.  He was a voracious reader.  He was also a very gifted artist.  Daniel and his sister Dawn grew very close over the past 6 years and loved each other deeply. He was affectionally known by his friends as “Maus”.   He was loved by many friends and family.  Daniel served his country in the United States Army.

 

Surviving family include his parents, Daniel R. Sandlin and Eileen T. (Bowen) Mills; his adopted parents, Don and Elfrieda Croddy; his siblings, Dawn (Steve) Price; Michael (Amanda) Sandlin, Brandon Bowsher, Carrie Richards and Mary Sandlin.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Erin Sandlin, Kameron, Alex and Sophie St. Aubin and one on the way.

 

A memorial celebration of Danny's life will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Pastor Bill Collins officiating.   A time of visitation will take place from. 3 -5 p.m. prior to the celebration of life service.
