Edwin "Ted" T. Parrott, 70, of Russiaville, passed away early Monday, July 8, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. Edwin was born September 10, 1953, in Kokomo to the late Ivan L. “Buck” and Theodora (McConnell) Parrott. He married Pamela J. Lundy on December 23, 1973, and she survives.
Edwin retired as a pipe fitter from Chrysler Transmission in Kokomo in 2012, with over 30 years’ service. He was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed tying his own flies. He was a member of UAW #685 and former member of the Izaak Walton League and the Moose in Kokomo.
Surviving family include his beloved wife Pam and son, Bradford and wife Abbey Parrott of Kokomo. Two granddaughters, Samantha and Izabella Goodwin, Brother, Lawrence (Nancy) of Venice, Florida and sister, Rachel White of Santa Barbara, CA. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and brother Walter Parrott.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Bill Martin officiating. Visitation will take place prior to services from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Galveston Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) in Edwin’s memory.
