Jerry L. "Bug" Pittman

Jerry L. “Bug” Pittman, 63, of Logansport, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Eskenazi Health Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born October 6, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky to Carl J. and Mary L. (Elliott) Pittman.  Jerry retired from Mid-America Beverage in Kokomo with 25 years’ service.  He loved to write music and hang out with family and friends.

Jerry’s surviving family include his seven siblings, Francis Pittman of Indianapolis; Bill Pittman of Cleveland, TN; Harold Pittman, Allen Pittman, and Carla Pittman of Kokomo; Mike Pittman of Logansport and Ferna Pittman of Nevada.  He is also survived by a longtime friend and companion, Teresa Pittman.   He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mary Lou Pittman and sister-in-law Lisa Pittman.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Sister Vickie Jackson will officiate services.  Burial will follow in the Galveston Cemetery.  Murray Weaver Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
