Larry J. Miller, 67, of Kokomo, passed away, surrounded by family, late Tuesday evening, November 4, 2025, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 30, 1958, in Wabash, Indiana to F. Lee and Barbara A. (Beck) Miller. He married Karen S. Klise on June 21, 1980, in Bennetts Switch United Methodist Church and she survives.
Larry was a welder and wireman by trade; he worked over 45 years in the welding industry. He was a 1977 graduate of Maconaquah High School in Bunker Hill. Larry never met a stranger and would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He loved camping, spending time with his grandchildren, riding his 4-wheeler, driving his John Deere Model L and watching Purdue Basketball. Larry and Karen were members of Bible Baptist Church in Kokomo.
Surviving family include his wife Karen S. Miller of Kokomo; his children, Christopher (Catherine) Miller of Kokomo and Jennifer (Brian) Weber of Fishers. He is also survived by his father, F. Lee Miller of Peru; three grandchildren, Leo Miller of Sheridan, Theodore and Marceline Weber of Fishers; and his siblings, Gary (Pati) Miller and Sherry Miller both of Goshen. Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Bible Baptist Church in Kokomo with Pastors, Norm Snyder and Dan Murphy officiating. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to services at the church from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help cover funeral expenses at www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com No gift is too small and would be greatly appreciated by his family.
