Marcia S. (Boring) Carden

Marcia S. Carden, 75, of Logansport, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was born July 30, 1948, to Paul and Betty (Pine) Boring. 

She worked as a beautician for many years in the Kokomo area before retiring.   She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her friends at Bend in the Woods Apartments in Logansport.

Surviving family include her son Wes Carden of Galveston; grandchildren, Nathan “Tahsin” Dewitt, Blake “Carleigh” Dewitt, Zach “Anthony” Carden, Tyler “Alexandria” Carden, Dylan “Natalie” Carden, Theo “Makayla” Carden and Rebeckah Carden.   She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Amelia, Oliver, Lucas, Ryleigh and Jaxson and siblings, Teresa Boring and Barbara Burrous.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.    She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Shane Carden and niece, Diana Truman.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Collins officiating at 3:00 p.m. with visitation prior to services from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
