Marcus N. Sprinkle

Marcus N. Sprinkle, 77, of Galveston, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 5:16 p.m. at his home.  He was born February 2, 1946, in Kokomo to Robert and Mary Sprinkle.   He married Gloria Jean Wilson on September 21, 1968, and she survives.

Marcus retired from Chrysler with 27 years as a tool engineer.   He enjoyed woodworking and was a member of the Lions Club and the Galveston Masonic Lodge.

Surviving family include his wife, Jean Sprinkle; his children, Lindsey (Keith) Sutherlin, David (Annette) Unger, and Heather (Chad) McKibben; his grandchildren, Darin and wife Tara, Dakota, Caitlyn, Thomas, Alex, Will, Andrew, and Caiden and foreign exchange student, Lee Doo. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and sister, Roberta Scovill.  Marcus is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023, at United in Faith Church in Galveston with funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 30th also at the church with Pastor Doug Benham officiating.  Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
