For 16 years of retirement, Max and Pam enjoyed traveling around the U.S. in their RV and wintered in Arizona, Texas, and Florida to avoid the La Porte snow. For the 43 years that he enjoyed living on the KOP Circle, Max actively participated in a weekly small group Bible study that began at First Baptist Church of La Porte and continued through many other churches.
