Obituary

Sandra Lynn Barnett, 41, of Kokomo, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023, at her home.  She was born August 22, 1981, to James W. and Carole J. (Mitzenberg) Barnett.  

Sandy was a supervisor for Indiana Packer’s for the past few years.  She loved her family and was a loyal friend to everybody who knew her.

Surviving family include her parents, Jim and Carole Barnett of Kokomo; sister, Carrie and husband Tom Hamilton of Kokomo.   She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins, and her special companion and loving dog, Royultey.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston.  Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston with Pastor Bill Collins officiating.   Burial will follow in Barnett Cemetery, Howard County.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Kokomo Humane Society, 729 E. Hoffer St., Kokomo, IN. 46902 in Sandy’s memory.
