Stanley Mynarski Jr.

Stanley Mynarski Jr., 94, of Galveston, passed away at 10:01 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent hospital in Kokomo.  He was born August 24, 1927, in Hoopeston, IL to Stanley & Anna (Wilcox) Mynarski Sr.      On November 13, 1949, he married Mary Fisher at the Upper Deer Creek Church in Galveston and she survives.

Stanley was a lifelong farmer and had also worked for Globe American in Kokomo for a few years.  He attended Upper Deer Creek Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Galveston.  He enjoyed woodworking and leather craft.   Stanley served his country in the United States Army.

Surviving family include his wife Mary F. Mynarski of Galveston and special friends and caregivers, Wayne and Christina Miller.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Norma Jean Barker and Rita Mae Conley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home with Pastors, Joe Coffin and John Rhodes officiating.  Burial will follow in Galveston Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of services at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
