Walter "Lowell" Morgan

W. Lowell Morgan, 96, of Kokomo, formerly of Walton, passed away at 5:31 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Bloom of Kokomo.  He was born October 21, 1925, in Kokomo to John H. and Hazel L. (Costlow) Morgan.   He married Helen L. Gray in March of 1951.  She preceded him in death August 20, 2002.  He later married Edith A. Tkachuk May 1, 2005, and she preceded him in death on October 29, 2018.

Lowell was a lifelong farmer, making his living raising sheep, pigs, corn, and soybeans.  He graduated from Young America High School and was a member of Cass County Farm Bureau and Rural Youth.  He enjoyed square dancing, art, and singing.

Surviving family include his children, Ellen (Don) Yerks, James (Teri) Morgan, Wesley (JoAnn) Morgan, and Tracy (Tina) Morgan.  He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and one brother, Eber Morgan.  He is preceded in death by his parents, first and second wives, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Living Truth Bible Church, 3017 East State Road 218, Walton, IN. 46994 with Pastor Dan Boyd officiating.  Visitation will take place from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 a.m. also at the church on Wednesday.  Memorial contributions may be given to Living Truth Bible Church or a charity of donor’s choice.  Murray Weaver Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. www.murrayweaverfuneralhome.com
