The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

I always remember a smile on Bessie's face throughout my childhood and beyond. Her love for family, friends and her community ran deep. Her joy for music shared in so many cantatas together is so memorable. Sing with the angels!

I am sorry for your loss. I always think of Bessie smiling, laughing, and enjoying her children and grandchildren. And, I do remember that toffee being passed around at a swim meet! May you all smile often as you recall many happy moments.

We are sorry for your loss. Bessie was one of the nicest people we know. She was always so friendly and happy. When Walton Christian bought their new piano she played for us and she was fantastic. She will be missed by our community.

What a special lady! Probably one of the hardest workers I know of, and she always had a big smile on her face. Her love of the Lord was obvious, and she is now in her new heavenly home. I am so sorry, though, for the loss to her earthly family and friends. She will be missed, but will one day help welcome those she loved who have also loved and accepted the Lord into their hearts.
