Dave was a mighty fine person. He would always speak to me when I was in school in Galveston and he let me play basketball in the elementary gym at night after school. Some times he even let me into the kitchen to get a cookie because I skipped my dinner to shoot basketball...lol. Dave will be missed by many of us.

To Patty and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Davids passing. I've known you all since being a young girl and you've always been a wonderful loving family. David was such a nice gentle man. He led his family by example. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. Heaven has gained another angelic soul. Please find peace in knowing that he touched so many lives while here amongst us.

I'm so sorry to hear of David's passing and I extend my deepest sympathies to the Young family. David was one of the hardest workers I've ever seen. My Pap Paw Goodier thought the absolute world of him. He taught me and my brothers how to earn the money we were paid. I'm thankful David was in our lives.
