Dolores May Day, 85, of Walton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 6:30 am. She died peacefully at home surrounded with her Family and pet birds.

 She was born November 11, 1931 to late Elmer and Effie Mae Chiha. On June 26 1951, she married the love of her life John L. Day, who passed away November 29, 2009. Together they raised 8 children. She was a good Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend to many. She was a member of Shiloh Lutheran Church in Walton. Her hobbies included Girl Scout leader, seamstress and quilter, gardening, volunteered for bake sales, church activities, and the Walton food bank. She also enjoyed attending the musical performances in Cutler Indiana.

Survivors include Daughter's; Deb Horner, Dianna (Steve) Hosier, Donna (Tommy) Rowan, all of Logansport. Denise (Willard) Wray III, of Debary Florida. Son's; David of Wasilla Alaska, Danny of Walton, and Darrell (Christine) of Columbus In. She has 15 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John L. Day, son Dwayne, and 2 Great Grandchildren.

 After cremation, the Family wishes to have a private burial service at Walton Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
